PLEASE NOTE SOME MINOR CHANGES TO THE PROGRAMME BELOW. 16.02.15
We are delighted to announce that on 28 Feb 2015 we shall be hosting at St Paul’s Hammersmith our second Worship for Everyone conference led by the Worship For Everyone team including: Rachel Turner, Lynn Alexander, Nick & Becky Drake, Matt Harding and more…. It’s an exciting milestone on our continuing journey to learn how to best worship together as children and adults – the big family of God.
Last year was such a great occasion with many of you enjoying the times of Worship For Everyone in the main sessions, as well as the seminars. You can find a full review of last year here if it helps you decide about coming this year!
What’s it all about?
We have a passion to see God’s family worship together with one voice. We love children being present. We love their freedom and inhibition before the Lord. We love to learn from them. We also recognize how valuable it is for children to see adults worshipping – modelling praise, adoration and surrender before God. We also know that worshipping together is difficult. So many churches give up due to lack of resources, lack of vision or lack of fun and meaningful experiences! So our hope is that this conference will encourage, inspire, connect us with one another and help you, whatever your age, to become a Worship for Everyone pioneer back in your own church and home.
Who’s it for?
This is a unique conference that is aimed at both adults AND children. We will be worshipping together, praying for one another, and learning together, side by side. Most of the seminars will be open to children (we recommend 7+) but there will also be ones more particularly suited to just adults (e.g., a senior leader stream), and ones more particularly suited to children/families (e.g. W4E1 at Home or prophetic art and more).
We hope to inspire and equip church leaders, worship leaders, and children’s workers as well. So if you fall into one of those categories please do book on – you can even just pick half the day – we recommend choosing one main session so as you experience Worship For Everyone, and then go to one seminar relevant to you. Otherwise do join us, of course, for the whole day too!
Come along to experience Worship For Everyone
So, parents, come and bring your children with you and grow in your faith together as a family. Worship leaders, come and hear why we think we need to bring children back into the mix – in how we lead, in how we songwrite, in how we prepare. Church leaders, come and share your dreams, hopes and frustrations, strengths and challenges. Children’s workers, come and meet others, get inspired, grow your all-age worship back at base.
What will the day involve?
There will be 2 main all age sessions of worship, teaching and ministry together. Then there will be a whole host of seminars. Hopefully there will be something for everyone and plenty of time to meet, chat and ask questions.
The conference will be at St Paul’s Hammersmith on 28 Feb 2015.
The day will run from 9:30-3:30pm and you can buy full day tickets, or come for half a day if you’re not able to make the full day.
