I have a Father in Heaven
Who’s listening to me, whenever I speak

Who’s watching me grow, and I’ll always know
His love for me

I am His child (He knows and loves me)
I am His child (He holds and calms me)
I am His child and He Father’s me

I have a Father in Heaven
Who sings over me, when I go to sleep
I have a Father in Heaven
Who wipes all my tears and promises
He’ll be near to me

And sometimes I feel that no-one understands me
Sometimes I feel all alone
But then I remember that God’s always with me,
Saying, “Keep on going, you’ll be fine,
‘Cause I’m your Father and you are my child.”
